I can't see me
(from remnant)
2005
woven: wool

when I see you
it is a cold tear
that runs down my cheek
it stops
at the tip of my tongue
reminding me
of warm nights in my room
my lips mapping
the trail
of a single bead of sweat
that moistens the way
from base of your neck
to the small of your back
disappearing in the shallow
my mouth in hot pursuit
it stops
at the tip of my tongue
reminding me
