clò mòr
When a piece of weaving is removed from the loom there is always a quantity of yarn left as loom waste, those lengths of yarn at the beginning and the end of a warp that cannot be woven.
I have used those unwoven threads to create càrn, a collection of needle felted stones as a companion work to each of the 75 fabrics in clò mòr.
